in the community

360º Life Strategies has a philosophy of community service that is expressed most effectively in the words of George Bernard Shaw:

I am of the opinion that my life belongs to the whole community, and as long as I live it is my privilege to do for it whatever I can.

I want to be thoroughly used up when I die, for the harder I work the more I live. I rejoice in life for its own sake. Life is no “brief candle” for me. It is a sort of splendid torch which I have got hold of for the moment, and I want to make it burn as brightly as possible before handing it on to future generations.

We give 20% of our time back to the community. Especially since the local community in Monument, Colorado, experiences the heartache of having one of the highest teen suicide rates in America, 360º Life Strategies is committed to raise bigger mindsets that create happier people, longer life, and therefore greater impact in our world. Here’s what we are doing locally.

Crazy as Usual Town Hall

It’s a taboo topic – mental health. People don’t like the words. They remind me of the sterile halls where I visited my mother in a mental hospital…and later my father. Determined to break the trend of mental illness in my family, I’ve created a panel of sanity survivors who talk about what it means to walk to the precipice and back. Most of all we talk about how to combat insanity every day. If you are interested in participating, contact us.

Enneagram Book & Wine Club

What you don’t know about yourself can hurt you and your relationships―and maybe even how you make your way in the world. It can also keep you in the shallows with God. Do you want help figuring out who you are and why you’re stuck in the same ruts?

In The Road Back to You Ian Morgan Cron and Suzanne Stabile forge a unique approach―a practical, comprehensive way of accessing Enneagram wisdom and exploring its connections with Christian spirituality for a deeper knowledge of God and of ourselves.

I have structured an 8-week book club series covering

  • the basics
  • two meetings per triad
    • one to review the triad chapters
    • one to review what we’ve observed in life
  • one meeting to tie things with a bow and set a plan for life

If you don’t know what a triad is, you will once you read the book. Dates include: May 25, June 8, 22,  July 6, 20, 31, August 17 and 31.
