Here is the recipe to influence in the workplace.

I love Celtic sea salt so much that I carry a personal grinder. One time I got pulled aside at airport security because my salt grinder looks like the barrel of a gun. It makes a difference to me to make sure my salt is pure. I don’t use a lot of it but the reason I use it is because it pulls out the natural flavor of the food.

That’s exactly how we are supposed to season the workplace. Our attitudes and actions pull out the natural God-flavors in ourselves and others.

Jesus says it best:

“Let me tell you why you are here. You’re here to be salt-seasoning that brings out the God-flavors of this earth. If you lose your saltiness, how will people taste godliness? You’ve lost your usefulness and will end up in the garbage.”

How are your attitudes and actions pulling out the God-flavors in others?
