The Ancient Art of Leadership

8 attitudes that will transform your influence.

Have you heard that saying, “There’s nothing new under the sun?” I just finished a series of blogs talking about some ancient wisdom from the best leader of all time. You might have heard of this guy named Jesus. He had a talk with his buddies one day about the attitudes of being a leaders who value faith. It’s famously known as the beatitudes, but I call them the Be-Attitudes.

Be-Attitude #1: Less of You. More of Him.

Be-Attitude #2: You’re Blessed When You’ve Lost Everything.

Be-Attitude #3: You’re blessed when you’re content with just who you are.

Be-Attitude #4: You’re blessed when you’ve worked up a good appetite for God.

Be-Attitude #5: You’re blessed when you care.

Be-Attitude #6: You’re blessed when you get your inside world— your mind and heart— put right.

Be-Attitude #7: You’re blessed when you can show people how to cooperate instead of compete or fight.

Be-Attitude #8: Count yourself blessed every time people put you down.

Being salt & light

One final thought on being salt and light. The art of being.

The cover photo this week is me posing in front of The Louvre as a piece of art. I’m eager to hear your imprint on the world, your work of art or where you find yourself in this story. Will you share your leadership stories on the blog?
